서비스 이용약관

본 서비스 이용약관(이하 “약관”)은 HourShine(이하 “당사”)이 제공하는 서비스의 이용과 관련하여 당사와 이용자 간의 권리, 의무 및 책임사항을 규정함을 목적으로 합니다.
이용자는 당사의 서비스를 이용함으로써 본 약관에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

1. 서비스의 내용

당사는 다음과 같은 교육 컨설팅 및 멘토링 서비스를 제공합니다:

• Research & Intellectual Projects

• Writing Competitions & Publications

• Debate & Discussion Programs

• Admissions Strategy 및 지원 컨설팅

모든 서비스는 자문 및 멘토링의 형태로 제공됩니다.

2. 결과에 대한 보장 없음

당사는 다음과 같은 결과를 보장하지 않습니다:

• 특정 학교 또는 대학 합격

• 수상, 출판 또는 대회 성과

• 학업 또는 진로 관련 결과

모든 결과는 학생의 노력, 외부 평가 기준 및 기타 통제 불가능한 요인에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.

3. 이용 대상

• 서비스는 학생 및 학부모(또는 법정대리인)를 대상으로 합니다.

• 만 18세 미만의 학생은 반드시 학부모 또는 법정대리인의 동의 하에 이용해야 합니다.

4. 결제 조건

• 모든 서비스는 별도 합의가 없는 한 선결제를 원칙으로 합니다.

• 프로그램, 기간 및 범위에 따라 요금은 달라질 수 있습니다.

• 패키지(다회차 이용권)는 안내된 기간 내 사용을 원칙으로 합니다.

결제가 완료되지 않을 경우 서비스 제공이 제한되거나 중단될 수 있습니다.

5. 환불 정책

• 모든 결제는 원칙적으로 환불이 불가합니다. (단, 별도 서면 합의가 있는 경우 제외)

• 다회차 패키지의 경우:

  • 이용 중도 중단 시, 사용하지 않은 잔여 세션은 소멸되거나

  • 단일 세션 기준으로 재산정될 수 있습니다.

다음의 경우 환불은 제공되지 않습니다:

• 이미 진행된 세션

• 사전 통보 없이 결석한 세션

• 단순 변심

6. 일정 및 취소 정책

• 모든 세션은 사전 협의를 통해 일정이 조율됩니다.

• 이용자는 정해진 시간에 참여할 책임이 있습니다.

취소 및 변경:

• 일정 변경 또는 취소는 최소 24시간 전 요청해야 합니다.

• 24시간 이내 취소 또는 무단 결석 시 해당 세션은 사용 처리될 수 있습니다.

당사는 불가피한 사정이 있는 경우 일정을 조정할 수 있습니다.

7. 세션 진행 방식

• 대부분의 세션은 Zoom 등 온라인 플랫폼을 통해 1:1로 진행됩니다.

• 일부 프로그램(예: 토론)은 소규모 그룹 형태로 운영될 수 있습니다.

세션 시간은 프로그램 및 상황에 따라 조정될 수 있습니다.

8. 지적재산권

• 학생이 작성한 결과물의 저작권은 원칙적으로 학생에게 귀속됩니다.

다만, 당사는 다음의 범위에서 자료를 활용할 수 있습니다:

• 개인 식별이 불가능한 형태로 내부 교육 및 품질 개선 목적

• 성과 사례를 일반화하여 홍보 자료로 활용

당사가 제공하는 커리큘럼, 자료, 방법론 등은 당사의 지적재산에 해당합니다.

9. 비밀 유지

당사는 이용자의 정보를 보호합니다.

이용자는 다음 행위를 해서는 안 됩니다:

• 세션 내용, 자료, 전략 등을 외부에 무단 공유

• 녹화 또는 자료 배포 (사전 동의 없이)

10. 이용자 준수사항

이용자는 서비스 이용 시 다음을 준수해야 합니다:

• 성실하고 예의 있는 커뮤니케이션 유지

• 서비스 목적에 맞는 이용

다음의 경우 서비스 제공이 중단될 수 있습니다:

• 부적절하거나 공격적인 행동

• 서비스의 오용 또는 방해 행위

11. 책임의 제한

관련 법령이 허용하는 범위 내에서:

• 당사는 간접적, 부수적 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.

• 당사의 총 책임은 이용자가 지불한 금액을 초과하지 않습니다.

12. 외부 서비스

당사는 다음과 같은 외부 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다:

• Zoom

• Calendly

• Stripe

해당 서비스 이용 과정에서 발생하는 문제에 대해 당사는 직접적인 책임을 지지 않습니다.

13. 서비스의 중단 및 해지

다음의 경우 서비스 제공이 중단 또는 종료될 수 있습니다:

• 결제 의무 불이행

• 약관 위반

• 정상적인 서비스 진행이 어렵다고 판단되는 경우

14. 약관의 변경

본 약관은 필요에 따라 변경될 수 있으며, 변경 시 웹사이트를 통해 공지됩니다.
변경 이후에도 서비스를 계속 이용할 경우, 변경된 약관에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

15. 준거법

본 약관은 관련 법령에 따라 해석 및 적용됩니다.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by HourShine (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

HourShine provides educational consulting and mentorship services, including but not limited to:

• Research & Intellectual Projects

• Writing Competitions & Publications

• Debate & Discussion Programs

• Admissions Strategy & Application Guidance

All services are provided in an advisory and mentorship capacity.

2. No Guarantee of Outcomes

HourShine does not guarantee any specific outcomes, including but not limited to:

• Admission to any school or university

• Awards, publications, or competition results

• Academic or career outcomes

All results depend on the student’s effort, external evaluation processes, and factors beyond our control.

3. Eligibility

• Services are intended for students and/or their parents or legal guardians.

• For students under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent to and manage the engagement.

4. Payment Terms

• All sessions and programs are prepaid unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Pricing may vary depending on program type, duration, and scope.

• Package purchases (e.g., multi-session bundles) must be used within the specified period communicated at purchase.

Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or termination of services.

5. Refund Policy

• All payments are non-refundable, except where explicitly agreed in writing.

• For prepaid session packages:

  • If a client chooses to discontinue, unused sessions may be forfeited or recalculated at the single-session rate at our discretion.

• No refunds will be provided for:

  • Completed sessions

  • Missed sessions

  • Change of mind

6. Scheduling and Cancellations

• Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement.

• Clients are responsible for attending sessions on time.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the session being counted as used.

HourShine reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances.

7. Session Format

• Most sessions are conducted online via platforms such as Zoom.

• Certain programs (e.g., debate) may be conducted in small groups.

Session duration may vary depending on program structure and agreement.

8. Intellectual Property

• Students retain ownership of their original work.

• However, HourShine retains the right to:

  • Use anonymized materials for internal training or portfolio purposes

  • Reference generalized outcomes for promotional purposes without identifying personal information

All proprietary materials, frameworks, and teaching methods provided by HourShine remain the intellectual property of HourShine.

9. Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of all clients.

Clients agree not to:

• Share proprietary materials, strategies, or session content externally

• Distribute recordings or materials without permission

10. Code of Conduct

Clients are expected to maintain respectful and appropriate communication.

HourShine reserves the right to terminate services without refund if:

• There is abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior

• There is misuse of services

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• HourShine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services in question

12. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party platforms such as:

• Zoom

• Calendly

• Stripe

We are not responsible for any issues arising from third-party services.

13. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if:

• Payment obligations are not met

• Terms are violated

• Continued engagement is deemed inappropriate

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
